Description
Charlotte Wood is a Scottish freelance illustrator living in Luxembourg. She creates unique illustrations full of character, combining traditional and digital techniques. Her main means of expression are pen and ink, watercolor, acrylic and colored paper.
Her work is inspired by the natural world, an influence inherited from her childhood in the Scottish Highlands. Charlotte often incorporates objects found in nature into her creations, bringing beautiful textures to life. She also draws deep inspiration from the Impressionist movement, particularly admiring their use of color, their sensitivity and their experimental approach to translating their vision of the world.
In the work reproduced on the scarf, the artist wanted to depict, in his own style, a poetic view of the Alzette from the Grund district.
