Born into a family of painters and photographers, Sophia Rein has lived and worked in Luxembourg since 2006. While studying political science in Strasbourg, she focused on the role of art in society. Training in the history of contemporary art at Mudam and at the Institut de la Photographie in Paris contributed to the development of her approach and the perfecting of her particular “photopainting” technique.
