Description

Antoine-Louis BARYE (1796-1875), emblematic artist of romantic sculpture, was mastered by Antoine Gros, then Eugène Delacroix. Throughout his career, he executed real masterpieces of anatomical precision, which express a perfect mastery of the restitution of movements and characters. It is now on display at the Louvre Museum, the Musée d’Orsay and in many major museums around the world.
